Unigarant: how strong content brings the intranet to life

Together with Unigarant we have set up their new intranet. this new intranet, called ZekerWeten, has been introduced to strengthen connection, collaboration and knowledge sharing. Certain knowledge is now widely used: content managers know their way around better and better and the editorial staff is on Steam.

To further stimulate the use of the intranet, we helped Unigarant, the insurance company of the ANWB, to develop an adoption campaign. This short and powerful campaign aimed to familiarize employees with certain knowledge and to make them more familiar with existing and new functionalities.

A fast and powerful campaign

Together with a Communication Specialist from Unigarant, we developed a 10-week campaign that was balanced with existing corporate content. The campaign consisted of a series of five vlogs, three in-depth interviews (see an example here), three infographics (see two examples below) and a weekly poll with which we highlighted a specific functionality or application of the intranet. Think of’ the smolenboek ‘or the renewed’ Unipedia’, the knowledge database of Unigarant where employees can find everything about the organization. For the vlog series, we developed the format and scripts so that Unigarant itself could publish a vlog every two weeks.

resources varied widely. For example, five colleaguess, who had just participated in a vlogging course, made vlogs. We also designed infographics, posted interviews with project group members, and a recurring Survey called Do-It-Yourself Thursday. Evolve has thought along with us, advised and done a large part of the implementation.”

Content with a wink

There was a lot of room for humor in all the content created as part of the campaign. From the tone of voice of certain knowledge, this is an important element. Vlogging employees had original angles to convey practical information with a wink. Partly because of this and because the practical information was given by colleagues, employees gave the vlogs a high rating.

Topics that needed less explanation, we worked out in infographics. This form of content makes Information clear, making it a very effective way to provide employees with insight into how they can work with the intranet. Both the interviews and the infographics received plenty of likes and reactions and were positively received by the employees.

Together is the key word

We developed and produced the activation campaign in close cooperation with Unigarant. We worked together pragmatically for the best effect. We are proud of the result achieved: enthusiastic employees and a growth in the use of the certain knowledge. We therefore look back on a valuable and effective cooperation.
