Evolve conducts research on the influence of Artificial Intelligence on internal communication

In collaboration with Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, we dive into the world where AI and IC come together. We conduct scientific research on the influence and benefits of AI on internal communication. Because we couldn’t ignore it in recent months: the launch of AI chatbot ChatGPT. The tool became a sensation in a short time and more and more – already existing – AI tools gained fame among the general public. Expectations are high. Suddenly, there are plenty of opportunities to generate content at the push of a button. But what is it really going to mean? What is the impact, both on the profession and the work of the internal communication consultant?

We see numerous possibilities in internal communication where artificial intelligence can support. In addition to writing copy, you can ask an AI bot to do a spell check on your texts, it can analyze the statistics of your internal digital platform, translate texts and even spit out an entire content strategy for you. The options seem endless. That is why we are curious about the experiences of internal communication consultants with all these possibilities. Do you use AI and if so, how do you use it? And are there also snags? But above all: what is left for you to do?
